Fast-Growing Decibel Adds COO
London-based digital experience analytics firm Decibel has appointed Jason Lund as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
 Decibel works with clients including Lego, Adidas, Sony and D&B, using automated solutions to identify poor experiences on websites and apps, and help designers to optimise them. The firm raised an additional $23m in Series B funding in May, and said it would 'double down' on product innovation as North American and European demand grows. Decibel says the pandemic has accelerated and reinforced companies' need to optimise their digital experience, leading to higher than forecast growth in its own revenue.
Lund, who started the new role last month, is relocating to London to work alongside co-founder and CEO Ben Harris and CTO Tim de Paris. He brings more than twenty years of Silicon Valley expertise in emerging, rapid growth technologies, including time as CFO at Conversica, an AI-driven digital customer acquisition and growth company where he led $70m in financing rounds to support sustained, rapid growth; and working at DemandTec where he helped oversee a pioneering IPO, a number of acquisitions and finally the firm's $500m sale to IBM. In his new role, in addition to operational execution, he will manage Decibel's fund-raising efforts and financial reporting.
