Digital Experience Analyst Decibel Hires CPO

Digital experience analytics firm Decibel has appointed Felix von Kunhardt as Chief Product Officer (CPO), based in London.

Decibel's Digital Experience platform captures experience data and analyses it with the help of machine learning to identify problem areas on web sites and apps for action in near real-time. The offer includes a 'universal metric' for automatic measurement of experiences online, the Digital Experience Score (DXS). In May, the firm raised an additional $23m in Series B funding, which it is using to 'double down' on product innovation, as North American and European demand grows.

Prior to Decibel, von Kunhardt (pictured) spent his career leading experience-driven product management strategies for many different brands. In the early 2000s, he held product management roles at AOL, working on projects like AOL Search, and at eBay, where he led seller experience and client services. Then, he co-owned a social eCommerce platform called Sellaround, led trampoline company bellicon USA as CPO and co-found bellicon Home in Chicago. He was also previously CPO at employee engagement platform Fuse Universal.

In his new role, von Kunhardt will work with co-founder, Chief Technology Officer Tim de Paris, to help improve the platform's usability, validate the technology, launch new capabilities, and expand the product team.
