Maru/Matchbox Hires Toluna's Galka for Operations Role

In Canada, communities specialist Maru/Matchbox has appointed Kasia Galka as Senior Vice President of Maru Operations Group.

Maru/Matchbox was formed when MARU Group acquired Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division in 2016. The business develops tech platforms to connect with customers, provide on-demand insight, and combine research and analytics data sources. Its AI-based global tech ecosystem, Maru/HUB, can be used for projects of any size, from small, ad hoc to enterprise-wide programs.

Galka (pictured) joins after more than a decade at online community and survey tech provider Toluna, latterly as VP, Strategic Operations. Prior to this she was a Senior Project Manager at Greenfield Online (acquired by Toluna in 2009), and research and data collection firm The Logit Group.

In her new role, Galka will lead the delivery of projects in North America, Europe and Latin America, overseeing three function areas: project management, programming and data processing.
