Merkle Names Americas and EMEA Presidents

Data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company Merkle has promoted Michael Komasinski from EMEA President to President, Merkle Americas; while his previous role is to be taken by Margaret Wagner. These appointments will take effect January 1st, 2021.

Merkle is owned by Dentsu Aegis and uses analytics and other technology to help clients understand consumers and drive people-based marketing strategies. Komasinski now takes on the dual role of President, Merkle Americas and Leader of the dentsu CXM LoB in the Americas. Earlier, he was the firm's COO, Agency Services, responsible for business performance, capability development and service delivery in US and EMEA. He began his career at management consultancy AT Kearney before joining Nielsen, where he worked for seven years, and latterly served as VP, Global Operations. Later, he served as President of branding specialist Schawk Retail Marketing, and COO of Publicis agency Razorfish.

Alongside her new role as President, EMEA, Wagner has taken on the position of leader of the dentsu CXM LoB in EMEA. As Chief Growth Officer in EMEA for the past three years, Wagner has been working alongside Komasinski with a focus on gaining, growing, and solidifying client relationships. Prior to Merkle, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at RAPP and held executive positions at Wunderman.
