Accenture Buys French Healthcare Strategist OpusLine

Global management consultancy Accenture is to acquire Paris-based OpusLine, which provides strategy and management consulting services to healthcare providers, life sciences companies and insurance firms in France.

Alix PradereFounded in 2012, OpusLine helps clients take advantage of digital and data opportunities; create new products, offers and services; restructure and increase operational efficiency; and ensure their activates are compliant. Accenture says that following the acquisition of OpusLine, it will be better positioned to provide health industry clients with the latest innovations in areas such as data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI).

OpusLine has more than 85 consultants who will join Accenture Strategy & Consulting's newly created Health practice. The deal follows other healthcare and life sciences-related acquisitions made by Accenture in recent years, including the 2019 acquisitions of Clarity Insights, Knowledgent and Enterprise System Partners, and the 2017 acquisition of LabAnswer.
