Discuss.io Launches DIY Respondent Management Hub

Video feedback platform Discuss.io has launched Respondent Management, a DIY hub feature allowing users to track respondents through the process of recruiting, screening, scheduling, incentivizing and interviewing.

an enterprise-level smart video platform...Seattle-based Discuss.io offers an enterprise-level smart video platform, and has grown rapidly with the help of funding partners including its client Unilever. The new tool promises to streamline the qual research process by providing a single place to manage projects, screen respondents, execute and capture conversations, and share insights securely. The company says this will give brands, agencies and recruiters more options in how they connect with consumers, at a lower cost, and with higher velocity.

The tool uses permissions-based controls to allow execs access to information about respondents and brands held in one central location, and aids the customization of DIYqual. Benefits include the ability to collaborate on respondent scheduling, and reconciling it against actual participation; simplification of recruitment at scale, for project owners and third party recruiters who bring their own respondents; real-time updates in a shared grid, speeding up innovation cycles; and validation of respondents as the right people (name, gender, age, etc).

VP of Product Ashley Wali says the company 'noticed there wasn't a solution available to streamline research project coordination in a cohesive platform', and adds: 'With Respondent Management, corporate researchers are finally able to schedule, recruit, and organize research respondents in the same platform where they conduct research, enabling a more efficient and scalable solution for agencies and DIY brands'. According to VP Customer Success Karen Lindley, 'Respondent Management solves the problems that many insights professionals face, including friction in the recruitment and research management process and vendor fragmentation'
