DJS Research Appoints Eight Across the UK

North of England-based full service agency DJS Research has appointed eight new members of staff, including Cara Rodwell as Field & Data Services Director. Of the new hires, six will work remotely, giving the company a 'presence' in Glasgow, Birmingham, Kent, the Cotswolds and Devon.

Cara RodwellOwned by husband and wife team Danny and Ali Sims, Stockport and Leeds-based DJS works on both consumer and B2B projects across a variety of industry sectors, both in the UK and internationally. Rodwell joins after more than two years at customer experience consultancy Watermelon Research, where she served as Director, responsible for management of online, CATI, face-to-face and qual research projects. Prior to this she spent fifteen years at telephone research specialist and Watermelon sister agency Facts International, latterly as Project Director, managing ad hoc and tracking projects for MR agencies and end clients. In her new role, Rodwell will work remotely with a focus on client delivery and winning new business.

The other new additions are Alex Belcher and Anna Hegarty as Research Managers, and Jamie Lawson, Grace Middlehurst and Holly Collins as Senior Research Executives. Belcher joins from Breaking Blue Research where he served as Research Manager, having previously been an SRE at Progressive. In his new role, he will work remotely from Glasgow. Hegarty, who joined in November from Watermelon Research and after fifteen years at Facts International, will now focus on multi-market, multi-lingual projects in the healthcare sector. Lawson joins from BMG Research, Collins from Trinity McQueen, and Middlehurst has worked as GfK, TNS and Transport for London.

In addition, the firm has named two Project Assistants: Carly Parsons who joins from CommCulture and also worked at Ci Research, and Sarah Smith, who was previously a Research Manager at DJS Research and re-joins after starting a family. MD Danny Simms comments: 'Part of our strategy is to continue to expand our team and we've certainly done that with these excellent and experienced new starters. We are really looking forward to working with them all and are excited about what they can bring to the company, including now a presence in Scotland'.
