Schlesinger Group Buys Addison Research

International data collection and research services provider Schlesinger Group has acquired Canadian firm Addison Research for an undisclosed sum.

Headquartered in Toronto and with clients mainly in Asia Pacific, North America and Europe, Addison provides a range of qual and quant global data collection services, and a proprietary panel for qualitative recruitment in the US and Canada.

According to Schlesinger, the combined qual and quant capabilities will provide added value for clients of both firms. Addison Research's employees have joined Schlesinger Group, and the integration of the companies' services will begin in Q2. Mike Sullivan, President, Schlesinger Group, says the buy will 'fast-track' his company's capabilities in global CATI solutions, mystery shopping, intercept interviews and car clinics.
