Crosschq Raises Funds to Drive Data-Driven Hiring

In San Francisco, 'human intelligence hiring' firm Crosschq has raised $13m to enhance its analytics services, used to help companies track and measure the quality of their recruitment processes.

Mike FitzsimmonsThrough its proprietary software and data science, Crosschq collects data from job seekers and those who know them, and uses predictive analytics to match people with businesses. Clients use its technology to improve the way they source, screen and onboard talent, and have access to an analytics suite giving on-demand access to hiring data.

The new Series A funding has been led by Tiger Global Management, with participation from returning investors GGV Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Slack Fund, SAP, Intersect Capital and Rocketship.VC, and a group of new 'purpose-driven' investors. Crosschq will also use this investment to expand its ML/AI, Go-To-Market and Development teams, develop partnerships, and continue its focus on driving diversity in hiring practices.

Mike Fitzsimmons (pictured), CEO and co-founder of Crosschq, comments: 'The fact that we have attracted such an incredible investor group is a key indicator that we are onto something big in our mission to disrupt the $74 billion hiring industry. In a world where the focus is finally shifting in the right direction towards diversity and quality of hires, the old ways of sourcing and screening talent will no longer stand. Companies are starving for better data and tools to help them make more informed, unbiased decisions and that's what we deliver'.
