Expansion Funds for Healthcare Data Firm Clearsense
Clearsense, a data management and analytics tech platform for the healthcare sector, has raised $30m in a financing deal. The money will be used to continue developing solutions such as the Clearsense DataHub, and to expand its advisory services.
US-based Clearsense offers an advanced AI and machine learning analytics platform which ingests, organizes and translates all healthcare stakeholder data in real time, for use by internal or third-party analytics functions. Clients including providers and payers can use this to bring together their disparate data sources to increase revenue opportunities.
New funding has been led by Health Catalyst Capital and will partly be used to bring in industry experts in data governance, data science, research and advanced analytics. Clearsense co-founder and CEO Gene Scheurer (pictured) comments: 'Our advanced data platform technology is architected specifically for healthcare, and we aim to improve patient care at all levels of the organization. The investment and partnership with HCC enable our continued growth and bring a strategic partner with a healthcare focus'.
