Khoros Names New CFO and CTO
Austin, Texas-based customer engagement software developer Khoros has appointed April Downing as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Samuel Monti; while Sejal Amin joins as Chief Technology Officer, replacing Dan Doman.
 Khoros was built following the merger of social media marketing software company Spredfast and social media management and online community solutions provider Lithium Technologies. In January, the company acquired Topbox, whose software pulls in data from a wide variety of customer touchpoints including call recordings and transcripts, emails, social media, surveys, in-app communications and web feedback, and analyses it with proprietary natural language processing and AI tools.
Downing joins with more than two decades of experience and a career which has included co-founding subscription service Supply Drop, serving as COO of Civitas Learning, and CFO at WP Engine. In her new role, replacing Monti, who is now CFO of Epicor Software, she will be responsible for leading Khoros' global finance organization, and supporting the company's organic and inorganic growth.
Amin has more than 25 years of experience in product development, leading large engineering teams. Most recently, she was CTO for the Tax and Accounting Professionals business at Thomson Reuters, where she spent fifteen years. At Khoros, Amin will lead the firm's development organization, managing product strategy and innovation, replacing Doman, whose next career move is not yet known.
Both will report to CEO Jack Blaha, who comments: 'I am extremely honored to welcome April and Sejal to our Khoros team.
