Kraus Replaces Henning as MRII Executive Director

The Board of non-profit MR educational institute the MRII (Market Research Institute International) has appointed Stephen Kraus as its Executive Director, replacing Jeffrey Henning, who will continue as a Board member.

Stephen KrausMRII offers online market research courses covering the fundamental skills for the profession, to the standards of worldwide industry associations. The organization partners with the University of Georgia on 'Principles' courses for market research, including mobile and pharmaceutical research, and has taught nearly 9000 practitioners from 107 countries.

Kraus (pictured) joins after 25 years in the MR industry. He began his career at Yankelovich, before founding his own consulting firm Next Level Sciences. Later, he was Director of Research Services at AbsolutData, worked for Harrison Group (now part of YouGov, and served as SVP & Chief Insights Officer at Ipsos Connect. Later, he worked for SimilarWeb as Chief of Insights, and he was Head of Digital Insights at Jumpshot. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco School of Management, where he helped launch the USF's Master of Science in Marketing Intelligence and teaches Qualitative MR.

In his new role, he replaces Vovici founder Jeffrey Henning. Dan Coates, past MRII President and Search Committee Chair, comments: 'Stephen's experience, credentials, strong thought leadership capabilities, and strong connections to education and learning will help the MRII achieve our important mission'.
