Accenture Buys Data Solutions Firm Trivadis

Professional services giant Accenture has acquired Glattbrugg, Switzerland-based Trivadis AG, which provides platforms and solutions for the automation and innovative use of data systems. Terms were not disclosed.

Ana CamposTrivadis' proprietary software helps companies advance their data platform lifecycles, automate operational tasks in databases, develop data warehouse solutions and accelerate cloud migration: it also helps train clients in data literacy and delivery of actionable insights. Founded in 1994, the firm has clients in the public sector, automotive and life science industries among others. The firm employs more than 700 people across Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Denmark and Romania, and these will join Accenture's Data & AI team within its Cloud First group

'The power of data can be limited if locked in legacy, on-premises platforms', says Karthik Narain, Global Lead for Accenture Cloud First. 'Acquiring Trivadis will strengthen our ability to help clients blend data from different sources together in real-time, build agile reporting, and leverage analytics and AI to create broadly accessible customer, market and operational insights that deliver meaningful business outcomes'.

Ana Campos (pictured), who is co-CEO of Trivadis alongside Gerald Klump, comments: 'Together, we will create great opportunities for our people to develop and become the partner of choice for businesses to harness the power of data in the cloud'.

Completion of the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.

Accenture, which employs a staggering 569,000 people, is online at www.accenture.com , while Trivadis can be found at www.trivadis.com/en .
