Zeta Hires Former Merkle CTO Matthew Mobley

New York-based data-driven marketing tech firm Zeta Global has appointed former Merkle CTO Matthew Mobley as EVP of Technology Strategy.

Zeta combines a proprietary consumer data set comprising several billion identities with artificial intelligence to uncover consumer intent, personalize experiences and drive business growth. Earlier this month, the firm acquired digital survey platform Apptness.

Mobley (pictured) joins with more than 26 years' tech experience, 22 of them specifically in marketing and advertising technology, spanning the Americas and EMEA. Most recently, he served as CTO at Merkle, where he led the Americas Technology Services Line. Prior to this, he was dedicated to building and leading consulting organizations across the Americas and EMEA, including serving as SVP of Solutions Consulting at Epsilon and as VP of European Consulting and as the US Marketing Technology Practice leader for Acxiom.

In his new role, Mobley will lead the CRM Technology Strategy team, advising customers on how best to use technology to meet their business goals.
