Seed Funds for Rahul Sahgal's QoreNext

Singapore and Seattle-based enterprise Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform QoreNext has raised $1.5m in a seed funding round, which it will use to advance production of its main modules and to bring its first set of data products to market.

Rahul SahgalSet up last year by Annik founder Rahul Sahgal, QoreNext collects and analyzes data using machine learning and robotic process automation (RPA), removing the need for data stewards or editors. The platform is able to intelligently tag new data as it is ingested into the system, and label images to enable the model to predict what objects are.

New funding has been led by Wavemaker Partners and follows an angel investment round from organisations in the insights, payments and data spaces. Sahgal comments: 'We have already had many constructive discussions with corporates that show a genuine interest in our data offerings. In Wavemaker, we are excited to have found the perfect partner to help us get the company to the next level'.
