Charity Researcher nfpSynergy Renamed nfpResearch

London-based, not-for-profits MR specialist nfpSynergy has changed its name to nfpResearch. In addition to a commitment to becoming carbon neutral in 2022, nfpResearch is also launching an annual fund of £10,000 to allow smaller charities and organisations to bid for free research.

Cian Murphy and Tim Harrison-ByrneThe business helps charities track their profile and engagement among their key stakeholder groups through regular, syndicated surveys; while also working on bespoke projects, using a range of quantitative and qualitative research services. Last year, company founder Joe Saxton sold the agency to his colleagues, co-MDs Cian Murphy and Tim Harrison-Byrne.

The name change is part of a rebranding under Murphy and Harrison-Byrne's management, which also involves setting a new company direction. This will see prioritisation of social investment, a focus on better user technology, and a commitment to under-represented audiences, while building on more than twenty years' worth of benchmarking expertise.

Harrison-Byrne comments: 'This rebrand is about building on all that is good at nfpSynergy - the commitment to helping charities make better decisions. With better use of technology and a more modern visual identity we can improve the client experience, whilst also still delivering relevant and much needed free resources to smaller charities.'
