Audience Measurement Firm Beatgrid Adds Two to Board

Netherlands-based audience measurement specialist Beatgrid has emerged from stealth mode, adding to its Board of Directors former Nielsen Catalina Solutions CEO Matthew O'Grady and oOh! Media founder Brendon Cook.

Matt O'GradyBeatgrid specialises in cross-media ad exposure and retail footfall measurement, and has developed passive ACR technology (Automatic Content Recognition), for panel-based measurement combined with geolocation tracking. O'Grady (pictured) previously spent a decade at Nielsen, including serving as President and MD of Nielsen International Media, and CEO of Nielsen Catalina Solutions. Earlier, he was EVP of Nielsen Local Media - which included broadcasters, cable and audio clients, the largest division within Nielsen Media. Separately, he has served on the Boards of IBOPE Media, Nielsen Admosphere, Scarborough Media, The Media Behavioural Institute (MBI) and The Direct Marketing Association.

As the founder of oOh! Media, Cook helped the Out of Home advertising industry's move to digital, in Australia and New Zealand. He has been an ASX director for more than sixteen years, International VP of the global industry body The World Out of Home Organization, and also founding director and shareholder of digital online publishing and training business I learning P/L.
