PureSpectrum Buys Sampling Tech from Dalia

Online sample marketplace PureSpectrum has acquired programmatic sampling technology assets from Dalia Research, for use in further expanding its PureSpectrum Marketplace. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Michael McCraryFounded in 2013 by Nico Jaspers, Dalia offers a tech platform to access people for survey research initiatives. Six years later, Jaspers launched Latana, which uses the same data collection methodology to uncover how people's perception of brands change over time. Jaspers says the deal enables his team to fully focus on Latana and to develop the 'next generation of brand analytics'.

Following the deal, the PureSpectrum Marketplace will be expanded with the addition of more than 100 API-connected publishers and suppliers and access to 28 additional countries. Michael McCrary (pictured), founder and CEO of PureSpectrum, comments: 'From day one, our goal has always been to make research and thus life easier for our clients. With this technology acquisition, our clients will see even better feasibility on our platform with no change to the data quality they expect when working with PureSpectrum'.
