New Funds for Usability Testing Firm Sprig

Usability testing specialist Sprig has raised $30m in a new round of funding, which it will use to accelerate the development of new products relating to research across the product development lifestyle, and to support its go-to-market activities.

Sprig has just launched its Concept & Usability Testing approach, through which companies can test ideas, concepts, designs and prototypes before building a product. Combined with in-product surveys, the approach is designed to enable teams to research across the product development lifecycle to build customer-centric products. Specifically, the solution offers browser-based testing with participants to review concepts; complete recorded usability tasks; and deliver feedback via text, voice, or video without the need to download plugins or extensions.

The firm's new funding comes from existing investors, Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, First Round Capital and Elad Gil, as well as new investors, including Figma Ventures, bringing the company's total raised to date to $90m.
