Seed Funds for US Game Analytics Platform ByteBrew

In the US, game analytics platform ByteBrew has raised $4m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to create new technologies for developers, and to expand its team.

Co-founded last year by brothers and games developers Cameron (CEO) and Kian Hozouri (COO), San Diego-based ByteBrew provides a free platform allowing mobile game analytics, retention, monetization tracking, A/B testing, custom event tracking and attribution measurement. The all-in-one platform also enables the analysis of players' real-time engagement.

New funding was led by Konvoy, with participation from Valhalla Ventures, Node Ventures and other angels. Kian Hozouri comments: 'We created ByteBrew to redefine what is considered an industry standard for game developers, so that developers can stop paying for expensive services with complex integrations that leave their data isolated on multiple, fragmented platforms. ByteBrew removes the growth barriers faced by developers by providing all the tools and services they need to reach the top of the chart in one platform'.
