Cooler Screens Hires Former dunnhumby SVP

Chicago-based in-store retail media platform Cooler Screens has appointed long-time dunnhumby exec Artem Lavrinovich as Chief Data and Product Officer.

Artem LavrinovichThe firm's media platform mimics brick-and-mortar shopping experience for consumers in the cooler and freezer aisle, while delivering new marketing opportunities and smart merchandising for brands and retailers. With Lavrinovich's appointment, Cooler Screens has launched a contextual advertising solution for CPG brands. This solution brings together the firm's intelligence, technology and audience network - nearly 100 million viewers per month over 10,000 screens nationwide - to enable CPG brands to directly engage with in-market audiences on new products in-store.

Lavrinovich (pictured) joins with fifteen years' experience in retail, eCommerce, and consumer products. Most recently, he worked for Amazon as Director of Customer Engagement, Personalization and Data Science, using data science to drive customer experiences at Amazon Books and Amazon Kindle. Before this he was SVP, Head of Solutions at Tesco-owned data science firm dunnhumby, where he spent more than twelve years developing data-driven solutions across customer insight and strategy, pricing, promotions, assortment, and marketing for retailers such as Kroger, Best Buy and Macy's.
