Think HQ Hires Head of Strategy and Research

In Melbourne, purpose-driven communications agency Think HQ has appointed former Bank of Australia strategy leader Fiona Nixon as Head of Strategy and Research.

Fiona NixonThink HQ was founded in 2010 and eighteen months ago <31437announced it was bringing its research department in-house, appointing recent recruit Pauline Ho to lead it in the role of Strategy and Insights Manager. The agency helps purpose-led businesses to develop and improve inclusive communications and creativity, and to create positive social and environmental impact.

Nixon brings almost 30 years' industry experience to the role, combining brand building and strategy with social and environmental sustainability. Her senior leadership roles have spanned the financial, consultancy, public and not for profit sectors, and most recently she worked as Head of Strategy and Communications at customer-owned financial institution Bank Australia. In this role she was responsible for the corporate strategy, corporate affairs, marketing and sustainability and helped build the bank's reputation for thought leadership in responsible business driving customer and asset growth. Earlier she worked in roles in consulting and in the Victorian Government public sector, optimizing campaigns and stakeholder engagement for major social policy initiatives in multicultural, women's and community development areas. She has also served on the Australia Committee of the global advocacy organisation Human Rights Watch for the past five years.
