Affinity Widens Access to Consumer Purchase Insights

Affinity Solutions, which analyzes consumer spending data to help clients with their targeted marketing initiatives, has added its Consumer Purchase Insights as a central offering on the Snowflake Marketplace.

Damian GarbaccioNew York-based Affinity uses purchase signals from 140 million daily credit and debit card transactions to provide an understanding of consumer purchasing behavior. In April, the firm launched Comet, which uses consumer purchase signals to help marketers plan, activate and measure media. The enhanced Consumer Purchase Insights is a central offering of Comet, providing retailers, QSR, travel, media and entertainment companies with a view of consumer spending to inform investment decisions.

Through Snowflake's platform and Affinity's permissioned data, joint customers can connect granular purchase data across various touchpoints, to identify emerging consumer trends. Anyone with a Snowflake account can access a curated repository of vetted, ready-to-query templates designed to drive business visibility and impact.

The newly introduced library of syndicated Consumer Purchase Insights plays are available for understanding of share relative to competitors; to uncover where else customers are shopping; to understand brands customers are loyal to and what causes churn; discover key markets based on purchase behavior; and understand who the 'best' customers are, based on behavior. Damian Garbaccio (pictured), Chief Business and Marketing Officer of Affinity Solutions, comments: 'We believe every business, big and small, should have access to the same purchase insights and tools as the largest companies. That's why we are thrilled about our partnership with Snowflake'.
