Tricentis Buys Mobile Test Automation Firm Waldo

US-based continuous testing specialist Tricentis has acquired no-code mobile test automation platform Waldo for an undisclosed sum.

Waldo's testing platform is used to create and run automated, end-to-end mobile tests directly in the browser, without requiring technical knowledge - allowing clients to integrate end-to-end user experience testing into their mobile software development lifecycle.

Tricentis says Waldo complements and extends its own Testim and Tosca Mobile testing offerings with new test automation capabilities, including native, hybrid and web mobile application testing using virtual devices supporting iOS simulators and Android emulators.
