New Kyenetec Tool Tracks Regenerative Farming Trends

Agricultural and animal health analytics and insights firm Kynetec has launched an interactive dashboard product, RegenTrak, providing in-depth data on regenerative practices, for use by teams involved in sustainability, marketing and regenerative agriculture initiatives.

Jordan Le RouxWith a local presence across 30 countries and working regularly in more than 80, the firm's specialist areas include animal health and nutrition, crop protection, farm machinery and equipment, seed/biotech and fertilisers.

'Regenerative agriculture is entering a golden age' according to Kynetec, 'with both succession farmers and new entrants embracing a more circular approach to land management, utilizing the best of conventional practices to achieve yield as well as reverting to more traditional methods where herbicide and fungicide resistance, soil health and biodiversity can be improved.' The dashboards tap the company's FarmTrak panels where respondents have shared in-depth detail on their regenerative practices, including cover cropping, fertilizer use, tillage methods and irrigation; and carbon programs including their enrollment size and impact on grower spend.

Among other uses, clients can monitor trends in the area, identify target customer profiles, plan cover crop product strategy and use a proprietary RegenScore metric to understand local regenerative performance. Initially the service will cover Argentina, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, the US and the UK.

Jordan Le Roux (pictured), Senior Director of Sustainability at Kynetec comments: 'RegenTrak provides farmer-driven insights on regenerative agricultural practices, at this transitional time in agriculture'.
