SurveySpot for Australia

Survey Sampling International (SSI) is continuing its international expansion with the development of a SurveySpot Internet panel in Australia. SSI will work with Stephen Jenke, MD of Information Research Management (IRM) Pty. Ltd., a specialist consultancy in the deployment of online survey software and systems integration.

SSI projects that the Australian SurveySpot Internet panel will comprise 130,000 household members representing 50,000 unique e-mail addresses by the end of December. SurveySpot worldwide comprises over 6 million household members, representing more than 2.4 million unique e-mail addresses.

Jenke, who has 25 years of MR experience across the Asia Pacific region and Europe, says the time is right for multi-country online sampling, 'especially in the more mature markets of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore'. Increasing levels of Internet penetration are one of the major factors encouraging the move.

Jenke was involved in setting up the industry-based Quality Assurance schemes IQCA and MR 4752 in Australia, and worked previously with Millward Brown at Director level in both Asia Pacific and England. Prior to joining Millward Brown, he worked for companies including Yann Campbell Hoare Wheeler, Stochastic Marketing Group, Martyn Research and Associates and Port Moresby, PNG.
