DAIVID Promotes for Chief Growth Officer Role

London-based ad measurement and impact optimisation firm DAIVID has promoted its EMEA MD Barney Worfolk-Smith to the role of Chief Growth Officer.

Barney Worfolk-SmithThe company was launched in November 2021 by Ian Forrester, former Insight Head at video tracking platform Unruly. It uses facial coding, eye tracking and computer vision data to automate ad testing by predicting human attention levels and emotions.

Worfolk-Smith joined in 2022, and will now be responsible for developing the firm's global commercial strategy, including driving revenue growth, overseeing international expansion and leading the platform's marketing function - he will also advise on product development. Prior to DAIVID he held senior roles with companies including Unruly (now Nexxen) and an IPG agency called That Lot.

He continues to report to CEO Forrester, who comments: 'Since joining DAIVID, Barney's impact has been phenomenal. His level of commitment and the results he's delivered have been second to none. He marries huge talent with an outstanding work ethic and a ceaselessly positive attitude. Working alongside our ground-breaking solutions, which help advertisers crack the creative code, I am hugely excited to see what Barney can achieve next'.

Worfolk-Smith says his new role 'rocks like a Mexican donkey', adding (if it's possible to add to that): 'Ian has already fostered a truly growth-oriented environment here at DAIVID, so it feels liberating to change my role to focus on that globally. I think 2024 will be the year brands will fully embrace the dial-shifting upticks that unlocking their creative effectiveness can have'.
