RI Strengthens US Team

Research International has announced a number of appointments and promotions in the US, including five new VPs / Directors.

Christine Turk has been promoted to Client Service Director. She joined RI in June 2000 from Millward Brown and has plays key roles on high profile tracking programs for the non-CPG team. Pamela Hampton joins RI as Director of Out-Sourced Data Collection in the Operations Division, and will head up both domestic and international outsourced data collection.

Vassilis Bakopoulos has moved from Research International Greece to the USA as a Senior Vice President in Ad Hoc, Non-CPG division. He holds an MBA from Birmingham Business School in Birmingham, UK.

Yvette Wikstrom joins as a VP in the Tracking Division. She was previously at Burke Inc where she had complete responsibility in designing and implementing loyalty and customer programs. She earned her Masters of Science in International Management from Oxford Brookes University in the UK.

Candace Adams joined in January as a VP based in Chicago, having worked most recently for 10 years with Philip Morris USA. She received her PhD in Applied Statistics from Virginia Tech and has specialized most recently in behavior modelling.

Rebecca Tancredi has joined the HR team as Talent Development and Training Manager, based in Chicago, bringing 15+ years experience including work in the technology services industry with Bowne & Company and O/E Management Services, and previously with Santa Fe Railways.

Kathy Brewers joins the Minneapolis office after 7 years at Business Incentives Research Systems in the same city. She has a B.S. in Applied Sociology from St. Thomas University.

Zarana Patel, previously a Senior Account Executive at Frankel Worldwide and with most of her experience in the advertising world, joins RI's Super Group as a Senior Research Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

Michael Chapman joins from his own ethnographic research and consulting firm MindSPARK Consulting, and takes the role of Senior Research Manager, RI Qualitatif. Previously, he worked at Sapient Corporation as a customer-experience modeller. He holds an MA from the University of Chicago specializing in urban anthropology.

Gregory Young, formerly of Albany Molecular Research, joined in January as Systems Support Technician in the Chicago office.
