RI AsiaPac Promotions and Appointments
In addition to the US appointments announced earlier this week, Research International has announced senior staff changes in Asia Pacific. Miriam Rustam joins as General Manager of the Indonesian office, while Sunando Das and Gillem Lawson become Regional Directors and Rosalynn Tang Deputy MD in Singapore.
Rustam, with RI since 2001 and until now leader of the qual research team in Indonesia, replaces Iwan Murty, who is departing to take on a marketing role for a local pharmaceutical company. Asia Pacific CEO Heather Payne paid tribute to Murty for 'building a great team from nothing' and welcomed Rustam's combination of 'excellent technical research skills with a broad knowledge of marketing and branding'.
Das has been appointed Regional Director Consumer Understanding and Branding, and will remain based in Singapore, from where he leads the regional Marketing Science Centre, part of RI's global network of statistical think tanks.
Tang joined the agency in a management role in 1999 and has 15 years of qual experience. Lawson is the new Regional Director for Innovation, having previously helped to build RI's qualitative business in Thailand.
