AMR Appoints Supply Chain Expert
Business technology usage specialist AMR Research has appointed Guy Dunkerley as Research Director, responsible for European Supply Chain Research.
Dunkerley has more than 15 years of experience in supply chain and manufacturing for a variety of global companies, including senior roles with Pitney Bowes and engineering company IMI Norgren. In these roles he gained extensive experience in demand planning, inventory management, shop-floor operations and low-cost manufacturing in Eastern Europe.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.
Rod Johnson, AMR's General Manager in the region says European companies need to accelerate the implementation of advanced supply chain practices and technology in order to remain competitive, and that Dunkerley's extensive real-world experience will enhance AMR's leadership in the field.
