Senior Influx for Data Science Firm Outra
UK-based data science firm Outra is gearing up for growth with five senior appointments: Simon Dawson as Chief Revenue Officer - Real Estate; Graham Field as Chief Revenue Officer - Retail / Media; David Whiteley as Client Success Lead; Ryan Shiles as CPO; and Oli Bello as Head of Growth.
Outra was setup in 2017 by a team including former Tory party strategists Jim Messina and Lynton Crosby, and led by Giles Mackay, a former dunnhumby exec and the founder of property market analytics company Hometrack. Outra combines rich property and household data with predictive analytics, to help clients in real estate, retail and media to deliver smarter, audience-first strategies.
Dawson brings more than twenty years of experience delivering commercially driven data strategies across highly regulated SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) and FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) environments, most recently at Rightmove where he was Director of Data Services and Insights.
Field joins with more than fifteen years' experience in business development, digital strategy and revenue generation, including Senior Lead for Bus Dev at Shopify and Managing Partner at MediaCom.
Whiteley joins from ad data platform MiQ where he was Head of Product and Analytics, SEA, and brings two decades of experience in data activation and performance marketing.
Shiels joins with two decades of experience in data and digital product management, most recently at residential property data firm TwentyCI, where he worked for nearly a decade, most recently as Director of Product Strategy.
Bello's CV includes two years at Accenture, followed by nearly five at growth consultancy Manifesto. Most recently he founded a music fan data platform called Fan ID, in the US.
Mackay comments: 'Our ability to deliver smarter, more effective audience targeting relies on the unique depth and breadth of our UK-wide data. As the industry moves away from legacy identifiers, we're investing in top-tier talent to help businesses unlock commercial advantage through predictive modelling and real-time consumer insight. This team brings the ambition, experience and strategic thinking we need to take Outra into its next phase of growth.'
The firm, which hires former dunnhumby and Experian exec Lee Hepplewhite as CTO in October, is online at www.outra.co.uk .
