Three Senior Hires for Innovation Specialist Catalyx

Consumer goods innovation consultancy Catalyx has added Ashley Ericksen to its team in the US and Doug Findlay and Alwyn Venter in the UK.

Ashley Ericksen, Doug Findlay and Alwyn VenterThe firm's proprietary framework, the Catalyx Innovation Triple Diamond, along with its Consumer Activation System, help identify opportunities, develop and launch winning products and services for some 75% of the world's top 20 CPG companies. In March Catalyx promoted COO Phil Norminton to Managing Director, allowing founder and CEO Guy White to focus on working directly with clients on their innovation challenges.

The new hires are for key roles on both sides of The Pond. In the US, Ericksen (pictured top) joins as Innovation Strategy Director, bringing more than twenty years of experience, most recently from Ipsos where she was VP in the Innovation Service Line. Product development and front-end strategy are a particular focus of her expertise.

In the UK. Findlay (pictured middle) takes the role of Commercial Director, with experience from senior roles at Zappi, Ipsos, Kantar, Symrise and Diageo, and a mix of commercial, innovation and SaaS experience. Venter (pictured below) joins as Client Development Director, having worked at Synovate in South Africa, and Millward Brown and Nielsen / NIQ in the UK, each for more than five years. He has also been MD of competitive e-Sports organisation White Rabbit Gaming, for the last fifteen years.
