'Transformed' IRI Wins Major Clients
Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) has announced an 'outstanding year' and given details of its 'ongoing transformation and aggressive plans'. The company says it signed over $110m worth of global new CPG and retailer research business over the past five quarters, along with more than $650m in renewals over the last two years.
Key North American new business wins include Boehringer Ingelheim, The Campbell Soup Company and The Dial Corporation, while internationally wins include Heineken, Henkel, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg's, Premier Foods and Unilever.
President and CEO Scott W. Klein says 2004 was 'an outstanding year' not only for new business but 'more importantly in terms of what these relationships represent in the context of our ongoing business transformation'. The change of IRI's value proposition revolves around 'a completely new suite of enterprise-class business performance management solutions that will fundamentally change the way manufacturers and retailers drive their businesses'. Klein describes progress to date as 'scratching the surface' and promises an 'extremely exciting year' in 2005.
