New UKI CEO for Merkle
Dentsu's CXM practice Merkle has appointed Chris Freeland as CEO in the UK and Ireland, a position left vacant by Anne Stagg who is moving to Digitas.
 Dentsu-owned Merkle specializes in the delivery of personalized customer experiences across platforms and devices. Stagg was promoted to the newly created role late in 2020, and resigned it in February - she joins Digitas this summer.
Ad agency veteran Freeland (pictured) spent fourteen years at TMW Unlimited, in roles including COO and joint CEO, then in 2016 joined Rapp as CEO and subsequently Executive Chair. He left the company in July last year and has taken a career break.
