Funds for UAE Business Analytics Firm icogz

In Dubai, BI and analytics platform icogz has raised $1.4m in pre-seed funding, with which to accelerate deployment of its Aryabot software; onboard regional partners; and push ahead with its roll-out in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Aryabot is a proprietary AI engine developed on a library of more than 200 algorithms, and allows users to unify complex datasets, detect patterns, trigger intelligent workflows, and generate diagnostics. The integrated data can then be questioned with natural language, for example on the factors behind rises and falls in sales, or forecast demand.

The round was led by angel investors and syndicates from the UAE and India, and the company says it is already preparing for a Series A round, while making strategic hires scaling up its modular agent stack, across enterprise functions from marketing intelligence to predictive operations.
