YouGov Adds Self-Recorded Video Option
In the UK, YouGov has launched Video Voices, a feature allowing clients to hear directly from members of the company's huge panel via self-recorded videos.
The feature can be added to any YouGov survey and is recommended for clients exploring early-stage product concepts, validating campaign ideas or getting opinions on a trending issue. Insights can be delivered in three days, as raw footage or as a curated highlight reel.
The firm says response rates for the new feature vary depending on the topic and the audience being surveyed, but for the UK National Omnibus (n=2,000) it guarantees 30 video responses. Panellists who decline to record a video can also be offered the option to give an open-ended text response.
