Welcome Revenue Growth for Comscore

Comscore has reported a 4.2% revenue increase in the quarter ended June 30th, with adjusted EBITDA up 25% to $8.9m. Growth was driven by a 60% rise for cross-platform solutions, including its Proximic programmatic division, as well as a key contract which came in early.

Jon CarpenterContent & Ad Measurement revenue increased 6.3%, driven by higher renewals and new business in local TV and an increase in cross-platform revenue; while the syndicated audience solutions business was boosted by the early closure and delivery of 'a key contract with a large enterprise media client'. Revenue from national TV and syndicated digital products declined, while Research & Insight Solutions revenue fell 7.4%, primarily due to lower deliveries of certain custom digital products.

On a GAAP basis, Comscore reported a net loss of $9.5m compared to $1.7m in Q2 2024, primarily due to foreign currency fluctuations, income taxes and interest on senior debt.

CEO Jon Carpenter calls the first half results 'solid' and states: 'As we look ahead, we remain bullish on our cross-platform growth trajectory and are maintaining our previous full-year guidance.' Revenue in Q3 is expected to be roughly flat, due to the timing of the key contract described above.
