Brahm's On List

Leeds-based research and marketing communications agency Brahm is one of the Sunday Times' '100 best SME companies to work for in the UK'. The league table, published last weekend, placed Brahm at no.61.

The evaluation combined feedback from three approaches: an employee survey, a company questionnaire and a workplace visit. Brahm was considered to have 'A family feel and friendly management... nine out of 10 employees laugh a lot with their colleagues and 89% say their team is fun to work with. They are in the top 20 for believing their workload to be fair, and few would leave if another job was on offer'.

Brahm was the only marketing agency in the North of England to feature. Last year at a cost of £100,000 it launched a training and personal development scheme for all its employees. The scheme, called 'Brahm+ The University of Brahm', is accredited by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA).

According to Robin Horsfield, Associate Director and Head of Brahm Research, the team is delighted with the award. 'Our employees are our most valuable asset, they work hard and we expect great results - but people have always been our No1 priority. What really makes this a fantastic place to work is that Brahmers love what they do'.

With 150 employees, Brahm is one of the largest independent communications agencies outside of London. Its home page is at www.brahm.com
