Acquisition and $7m Funding for UserEvidence

In Jackson, Wyoming, b2b customer voice platform UserEvidence has announced the acquisition of Zealot, a platform for managing advocacy and references; as well as a $7m funding round.

Evan HuckUserEvidence helps b2b GTM teams collect feedback across the customer journey, and rapidly generate verified case studies, testimonials and stats with which to promote their companies and reinforce product claims, thus closing what it calls 'the Evidence Gap'. It also helps them to share this content and tailor it to specific use cases based on company size, industry or geography.

The company says its new funding, which was led by existing investors and brings the firm's total to date to $21m, will help it expand operations and accelerate software development. CEO Evan Huck (pictured) comments: 'The go-to-market playbook is being rewritten in real time. Outbound is flooded with AI-generated noise. Paid media's losing steam. And buyers? They're more skeptical than ever. They want credible, specific proof before they'll even consider buying. This acquisition gives our customers a true end-to-end engine to collect, activate, and deliver that proof where - and when - it matters most.'

The firm says bring Zealot's people and services into the picture will add new capabilities like proactive activation of advocates, and AI-powered matchmaking between advocates and active deals. The result should be a fully integrated platform that empowers customer marketers to find and match positive reviews and references, deliver them to the right place and prove their impact with attribution and reporting tools that plug directly into Salesforce.

Huck concludes: 'This is about more than functionality. It's about setting a new standard. GTM teams shouldn't have to cross their fingers and hope the right proof shows up. They should be engineering it into every deal.'
