NIQ Strengthens Mobile Networks Team
Consumer intelligence firm NIQ has recently appointed Anastasia Bournelli as Vice President, Global Mobile Network Operators, leading the Mobile Networks team
NIQ combined with GfK in 2023, bringing together two major players in the understanding of global consumer behaviour. The firm has operations in more than 95 countries covering 97% of GDP, and provides more than 115 mobile network operators (MNOs and MVNOs) in more than 35 countries with services including market measurement, brand health tracking, and consumer and market landscape studies.
Bournelli (pictured) brings extensive experience in telecom strategy, transformation and digital innovation. She joins from Bain & Company where she was Global Telecom Sector Practice Lead, leading international projects in corporate strategy and telecoms innovation. Earlier she worked as Corporate Strategy Manager and Digital Change & Transformation Manager at Proximus. In her new role she will be responsible for developing and executing growth initiatives across the Mobile Networks channel.
She reports to Julian Baldwin, President Global Tech & Durables at NIQ, who comments: 'Telecom operators around the world are navigating rapid shifts in consumer behavior, competitive pressure.
