ResearchWiseAI Brings AI Text Analytics to Excel

In London, Ray and Will Poynter's ResearchWiseAI has announced the launch of 'Pulse for Excel,' a new product which integrates AI-powered text analytics directly into the spreadsheet package.

Founded by father and son team Ray and Will Poynter, ResearchWiseAI is dedicated to empowering the MR industry through the practical application of AI, developing tools and solutions to help researchers work 'smarter, faster, and with greater impact.' Former ESOMAR President Ray Poynter is the founder of NewMR, MD of consultancy The Future Place, and author of The Handbook of Mobile Market Research and The Handbook of Online and Social Media Research. Will Poynter has served as CTO at Research Through Gaming and in lead engineering roles at Babylon Health and UCL Institute of Education. The pair initially teamed up two and a half years ago to develop free analysis tool Word Cloud Plus.

Pulse for Excel is available now as an add-on for the spreadsheet package, and once installed allows users to analyse open-ended survey responses and other text data alongside their quantitative findings, all within Excel. This includes conducting sentiment analysis, automatic extraction of themes / key patterns and topics across large text datasets; and AI coding of open-ended answers.
