Vimeo and NPAW Partner for Video Streaming Analytics
Video distribution platform Vimeo is teaming up with video intelligence specialist NPAW to deliver an integrated analytics suite providing enterprise-level intelligence to streaming content creators and media businesses.
Vimeo Streaming Analytics features three specific hubs: Engagement, Audience, and Business. the first of these includes total views and detailed drop-off points, with the ability to compare movies, series, or playlists and drill into individual video behavior. The second gives insights into who viewers are and how they interact with a platform - including audience growth trends, explore geographic distribution, and device / platform preferences. Lastly, the Business Hub allows users to track subscriber growth, churn, revenue and transactions, with detail on what drives sign-ups and what risks losing subscribers.
Vimeo says data on platforms like YouTube and TikTok is 'typically limited to view count and basic demographic information... only owned channels provide the in-depth insights you need to build a comprehensive picture of your audience's viewing habits and refine your strategy for maximum impact.'
