Acquisitions, Funds for Leisure Sector Data Firm Peek

San Francisco-based Peek, which describes itself as 'the operating system for experiences', has announced two acquisitions and the raising of $70m in series D funding.

2 buys and $70m Series D for PeekPeek's software helps clients working in the 'experiences' industry - including museums and attractions, tours and activities - to increase their revenue, increase efficiency and improve their guest experience. Products include Peek Copilot, an integrated AI platform featuring Dynamic Pricing and conversion optimization; and AI agents which it says solve key industry challenges such as fraud detection and data analysis.

The firm says acquiring ACME Ticketing brings it deep expertise in ticketing infrastructure, memberships and donations for iconic cultural institutions, while its second buy, Connect&GO, adds tech such as RFID and on-site visitor tools for complex venues, for 'powerful all-in-one attraction management.' The buys also expand Peek's reach to more than 150 million consumers across museums, theme parks, tours and activities and cultural attractions - 'the full spectrum of how people spend their leisure time.'

'We have hundreds of AI agents working behind the scenes to save merchants thousands of hours on repetitive tasks,' notes CEO Ruzwana Bashir. We've built an AI-powered system that works 24/7, transforming how operators understand their customers and optimize their operations across every touchpoint... These acquisitions and new funding enable us to further accelerate our product innovation and deepen our support, ultimately helping operators grow their businesses.'

Funding was led by growth equity firm Springcoast Partners.
