Funds for Spanish Data Specialist Anyformat

In Madrid, GenAI-based data handling platform Anyformat has announced a EUR 3.3 million seed funding round, which it will use to accelerate product development, expand its engineering and product teams, and build a dedicated sales team focused on Spain and the European Union.

Anyformat's technology allows large organizations to extract and structure complex data from 'any document' - including contracts, invoices, emails or presentations - while maintaining full control of sensitive data. The firm raised EUR 520k in June this year5, and has since expanded its capabilities beyond traditional document extraction, developing the ability to combine information extracted from a document with a company's proprietary data in real time - used to cross-reference data with internal records such as customer databases, policies and product catalogs, or with historical information.

The round was led by Kibo Ventures, with follow-on participation from 4Founders, Abac Nest Ventures and Decelera Ventures. The company says it expects to surpass EUR 1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in 2026.
