Havas Buys French Data Engineering Firm Unnest
Marcoms holding group Havas has acquired Unnest, a French firm focused on designing, building and deploying data platforms. The buy reinforces data, tech and analytics arm CSA, and aligns with its Converged.AI strategy to help brands navigate transformation challenges.
Havas says Unnest, which was founded in 2021 by Nicolas Chollet and Mehdi Moreau (pictured L and R respectively), brings it teams of experts specialized in Data & Cloud Engineering (including Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Snowflake and Amazon Cloud), as well as AI. With strong synergies with Havas' CSA Data Consulting, DBi, and TED Consulting, the deal creates a combined team of 120 data experts in France, and allows Unnest's solutions to be rolled out in France and internationally.
Yannick Bolloré, Havas Chairman and CEO, comments: 'We are thrilled to welcome Nicolas Chollet, Mehdi Moreau, and the entire Unnest team to the Havas family. Their technological expertise will be a valuable addition to the acceleration of our Converged.AI strategy. They will help drive the adoption of AI solutions across our client base, addressing strategic and operational challenges while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
Chollet says the move represents a unique opportunity to accelerate the company's growth and leverage its technological expertise in support of a global vision.
