Funds for Spanish Synthetic UX Testing Firm Uxia

Barcelona-based Uxia, which allows b2b clients to automate user testing with AI-generated synthetic users, has announced a pre-seed funding round of around EUR 1 million. The funds will fuel product development, talent acquisition and international expansion.

Borja Díaz-RoigFounded in 2025, Uxia boasts a founding team with product and technical skills from companies including Google, Gopuff, Shiji and TransferGo. CTO Víctor Perdiguer previously led technical integrations at Shiji Group, and worked in AI-focused roles at Vonzu and NTT Data.

The platform allows design teams to upload prototypes, define target personas and receive usability feedback 'in minutes', according to www.eu-startups.com .

Armed with the funding the firm plans to add more test types, improve the accuracy of personas, and enhance reporting. The round was led by Abac Nest Ventures, with participation from Encomenda VC, and angel investors including Javier Darriba, co-founder of UserZoom), who will also join the company as an advisor. The angels also include Marsal Gavaldà, CTO of Clarity AI, and William Leppard, Director of AI at Oracle.

'Just as seatbelts became standard for every driver, not just professionals, Uxia will make continuous user testing an expected and effortless part of how every digital product is designed and launched,' according to CEO and co-founder Borja Díaz-Roig (pictured).
