New CFO for SurveyMonkey
Survey and form software firm SurveyMonkey has appointed Lance Ludman as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Rich Sullivan who left the company in September.
The DIY online surveys and forms pioneer now offers a broad range of feedback tools supporting enterprises and individuals with customer experience, employee engagement, market research, payment and registration forms, and many other applications. Other recent C-Suite appointments include Meera Vaidyanathan as CPO in June, and Katie Miserany as Chief Communications Officer and Global Head of Marketing, in November.
Ludman (pictured) brings experience of scaling technology and software companies, most recently from CFO roles at corporate purpose software provider Benevity and private-equity backed K-12 education technology company DreamBox Learning. Earlier he worked in senior financial roles including CFO for International, during a decade at Blackbaud, and in corporate development at Lockheed Martin. He holds an M.A. in International Economics from the George Washington University and a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Richmond.
In his new role, he will oversee financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting, tax and treasury. He replaces Sullivan, who left to become CFO at snacks company Fruitist.
CEO Eric Johnson comments: 'We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Lance as our new CFO. What truly excites me is his unique leadership style: he maintains a persistent curiosity and business-partnership mindset. His fresh perspective is exactly the kind of financial and strategic leadership we need as we continue to serve our customers and advance our leading position in the market.'
