Warner Bros. Recognition for Researcher

Warner Bros. Pictures has promoted Lewis Oberlander to the role of Senior Vice President, Domestic Marketing Research. The move recognises the contribution of his leading edge analysis to marketing campaigns, as well as filmmakers' respect for his collaborative approach.

As the head of the Domestic Marketing Research department, Oberlander oversees the preparation, development, execution, analysis, and reporting of MR projects for all movies being developed and marketed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Dawn Taubin, President, Domestic Marketing, says Oberlander has been 'an invaluable partner in helping the Studio fine-tune and develop effective marketing campaigns for our films. His analysis of data gathered via the most current research methods, and his collaborative management style have earned him the respect of filmmakers, Studio executives, and his colleagues in the industry. I'm pleased to acknowledge his contributions with this new title and expansion of his responsibilities'.

Oberlander joined Buena Vista Pictures in 1992, rising to the role of Manager, Marketing Research. He left for Warner Bros. Pictures in 1998 and was named Vice President, Domestic Marketing Research in September, 2003.

He has a B.A. from Syracuse University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
