APAC Sales Hire for Nielsen
Nielsen has appointed former TikTok and Omnicom / OMD exec Matty Lin as its APAC regional sales leader.
Lin (pictured) brings nearly two decades of experience building commercial teams, leading regional P&Ls, and driving growth in the areas of advertising, technology and measurement. He joins from TikTok owner ByteDance, where he has spent the past eight years, most recently as GM of Global Business for Southeast Asia and South Korea. Prior to that he worked for six years at Omnicom and OMD USA, latterly as Senior Director, and earlier he was a Senior Analyst at Razorfish.
In his new role, based in Singapore, he will oversee Nielsen's commercial organisation in the region, reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Amilcar Perez. The firm said on LinkedIn Lin would play 'a critical role in deepening Nielsen's impact' in 'one of the world's most dynamic and fast-evolving media markets.'
