PhD and MBA Hires for BEESY
Applied behavioral science agency BEESY has made three new appointments: Jeremy Winget as Senior AI Engineer, Victoria Saba as Senior Behavioral Science Associate, and Abigail Pais as Operations Associate.
BEESY is headquartered in New Jersey and was founded in 2018 by former Ipsos US Marketing chief Elys Roberts. The firm helps clients in healthcare and biopharma sectors understand the non-conscious drivers behind customer decision-making, so as to market more effectively. Last month the company's expansion was boosted by a minority investment from Denali Growth Partners.
Winget (pictured above) worked as a Senior Analyst and Developer at Chicago-based SKIM for the past three years, and earlier served for around eight years as an Instructor and Adjunct Professor at the city's Loyola University. Backed by his PhD research in Applied Social Psychology, he specializes in designing robust, user-centered systems that make complex data actionable and accessible.
Saba (pictured center) joins from the University of Texas at Austin, where she has spent the past six years, and worked across a wide range of research areas, including aging and longevity, diabetes education and chronic disease management, sexual and gender minority health, and maternal health. She holds a PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Texas at Austin.
Pais (pictured below) brings expertise in process optimization and digital healthcare strategy, having begun her career as a consultant with Deloitte, focusing on end-to-end implementation insights for US Healthcare networks. She worked most recently as a Research and Policy Analyst at Edward H. Royle and Associates, and holds an MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management from the University of Pune.
'BEESY is privileged to be able to hire so much exceptional talent ready to help us tackle the growing demand for behavioral insights in pharma,' says Roberts. 'Being able to grow our AI, Ops, and Bsci divisions at once is a great feeling, and welcoming Victoria brings us to 31 behavioral scientists on staff now, I just counted!'
